Video: Metabolic Process Location

This interactive exercise focuses on how different organs and tissues are specialized in certain aspects of catabolism, anabolism, biosynthesis and regulation. In the first activity, when we select an organ in the human body, we can see the metabolic processes it performs. Then we are asked to locate different functions. Then we can study mobilization and storage of energy through the various states: digestive, fed, unfed and starved.
